A serious birder since 1986 (and another 10 years casually before that), I live in Oregon, United States. I worked at Denali National Park in Alaska for 11 spring-summer-falls (1975-1985) and budget traveled in Mexico and Central America some of those winters.

My bird sightings go into eBird and I'm adding some here too. I also enjoy photographing and identifying vertebrates, butterflies, odonates, other insects, and occasionally plants and fungi.

I use eBird recommended procedures when processing sound files.
