I've been fascinated by 'life' in it's various forms since I was a kid - pretty much all forms. Recently, I find myself drawn to Salticids (Jumping spiders) and their incredible designs/adaptations that often can only be seen through the magic of macro photography.

We currently have multiple native flower beds around the house with species chosen to support our local pollinators. In addition to the pollinators, they support robust colonies of two tiny Salticids - Talavera minuta & Attinella concolor.

We recently purchased a fifth wheel RV and have plans to explore the diversity of habitats around the continent, while hopefully, meeting some like-minded folks along the way...

I have started to obscure most of my observations since I've been fortunate to find some rare & unusual species. While I think the likelihood of those locations being exploited is low, it is much easier to take precautions now than having regrets later. If that information is needed, contact me & we can discuss ...

When I have time, I've started to ID Salticids with which I have some familiarity. Should you have questions or issues with any of these IDs, feel free to message me.
