I'm a trained botanist specializing in the flora of the western US. During recent travels in Latin America, I fell in love with their plants and their people. I am currently a PhD student at Washington State University working on a revision of Kohleria (Gesneriaceae) and hope to continue working on research focused on the diversification of neotropical plants.
