I first got into iNat through a Texas Bio course at UT Arlington and I've loved contributing ever since. After graduating I worked at the university as a research technician and the bulk of my observations are from the field work I did while working that job.

After that I worked as an ectotherms keeper at the Fort Worth Zoo. I helped care for reptiles and amphibians as well as worked in conservation programs involving endangered species such as the Houston toad, Louisiana pine snake, and the Texas horned lizard.

As of now I currently teach Biology at Arlington High School. I like to incorporate a lot of my prior knowledge and background into my lessons to get students more engaged.

My primary interests are in ecology, forestry, wildlife, and conservation! I enjoy talking to people about nature!

Also I hate Bradford pear and privets!
