I'm Claire, a nature lover in Birmingham, England. I work at an animal sanctuary here in the West Midlands, caring for a range of rescued animals - with a variety of habitats, the sanctuary also provides a home to a wide variety of wildlife, and I am enjoying observing and gaining a greater understanding of the species passing through or making a home here, with the aid of your identifications!

While it is wonderful to enjoy the wildlife here in Birmingham and the Black Country, following my first trip abroad recently to Iceland, I would love the opportunity for further travel to responsibly observe more species in their natural habitat - a truly magical experience. It's a big and beautiful world out there!
