I am an evolutionary geneticist working on Drosophilidae and their pathogens. I have some expertise in European Drosophilidae, and absolutely nothing else.

I started making an effort (and uploaded older images) in 2023, and this is how 2024 is going.

My iNaturalist observations are mostly things I've seen on holiday, and I am not qualified to recognise any of them!

I am rarely a maverick and as a research scientist I love the fact that some of my records end up in public databases such as GBIF.
