Tropical botanist and palaeoecologist. Originally from southern California, though have been living in the UK since 2010, and spent the few years prior to that in Australia.

Primary interests: mimosoid legumes, especially Entada and closely related genera; SE Asian tropical plants.
Growing interests: birds; moths; macrofungi; tropical montane and temperate plants; Madagascan flora; southern African flora; Neotropical flora.

Increasingly fascinated by all forms of biodiversity and ecological interactions.
