Warbler Woods

Headed out to Warbler Woods this morning with Terry Lashley in search of fall migration. Did see a mourning warbler and 23 other species of birds including a wonderful look (with a photo posted to iNat) at a great-crested flycatcher. Another treat included neon skimmers (dragonflies) flying around the water feature. Even got to observe a female dipping her abdomen tip into the water laying eggs with a male hovering near her with his abdomen flared and curved upward -- really cool to watch. Always a good place to visit -- thanks to Don and Susan for all you do for the birding community of San Antonio and Texas.
