Our Young Naturalists had a captivating experience capturing the beauty of Banksia integrifolia with our Canon cameras in our Nature Detectives workshops, April School Holidays 2023. They particularly noticed the striking contrast in colours between the adaxial (upper) and abaxial (lower) surfaces of the leaves and the arrangement of the flowers in Bankia's distinctive inflorescences.

Additionally, the Young Naturalists had the opportunity to explore the microscopic world by examining the triangular-shaped pollen of the Banksia. This experience allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of our native plants.
