Description

In the audio, Excuse the similar sounding house sparrows chirping away. Focus on the sharp single shrieky notes that are intermittent between the sparrows. Bird was high in a tree, larger & rounder than a sparrow with a long thin railroad spike beak. Sorry for the dark photos & the similar sounding sparrows confusing the audio.

For the flycatcher. The haze from the heat made it hard to get clear photos. I have it in my notes that the flycatcher may be Ash-throated, but I can't tell from the pictures.
