Description

I'll have a complete offering of the moths I documented the previous evening in South Fork, but I thought I'd upload these odds and ends. These moths succumbed to the reflections in some standing water adjacent to the main creek. For some reason, my small point-and-hope camera has trouble focusing on an object floating on still water, so these are less than perfect images.
This example of Oruza was actually preceeded by a couple of the same species I had photographed the previous evening in my nearby campsite.

Stumbled upon this ID almost by accident when I was looking through MPG for something else. This is apparently a regional endemic.

Description

Fairly common on the sheet. There are probably 2 or 3 different individuals included in this observation. A few of the images show the diagnostic HW pattern with lots of black on the margin.
Mostly an AZ specialty:

Based on the overall darkness of the FWs and the jagged PM line, I'm fairly confident that this is Meganola dentata. A careful examination suggests that the moth on the sheet and on the tree trunk, photographed about 40 minutes apart, are the same individual.
