In moss, from soil under spruce and hemlock
Cap 41-85 mm across, grooved to 15 mm, stipe 110-176 mm long, 6-10 mm thick at apex, enlarged lower, 10-16 mm at base, hollow, UV sheathing sides, not appearing to continuous around base, constricted on some. Creamy gray on inside, orange stains on ext, odor indistinct, taste sweet, nutty.
