Fun Fact: While many sea turtles feed on soft prey/foot items like sea grass and jellyfish, the large and powerful jaws of the loggerhead allow them to eat harder prey like whelks and conchs.
This little one had not made it to water during the night and was picked up by rangers and cared for until they could release it to the water at night. The hatchling turtles have a better chance of surviving at night when there are fewer predators.
