Digesting a langur
Tadpole getting air
White overall plumage and yellow beak. Walking slowly in a grass field near Clementi road.
Pair of adults with stunning white plumage on its entire body. Evidently long, sharp, yellow beak and yellow eyes, with black legs; hence they are not intermediate egrets (Mesophoyx intermedia, the latter has a shorter, slightly broad bill). Absence of black bill, no red legs nor long back plumes signify they are not in their breeding plumage. These individuals are not an eastern cattle egret (Bubulcus coromandus) either, as they were considerably larger than the other little egrets (Egretta garzetta) seen foraging in the same open field. Sex is indeterminate in A. alba.
