Rapidly recovered by resprouting and seed from high intensity fire on 4/1/20. Many plants flowering and a bit of seed production already at 18 months post-fire. Plenty of seedlings also present in areas where there is a bit of bare ground still, in the floodway along the creek. On this side of the road it is all straight species Z. aethiopica, on the other side all the cultivar 'Green Goddess', suggesting the two infestations originated in two separate gardens upstream of the two gully branches.
