Description

Bright orange cap growing in a shelf-like structure. Yellow color spores on the underside of cap. White spore print. No stipe. White flesh with firm texture and pungent smell. Found growing on a dead oak tree.

Description

Convex cap 5cm in diameter. Cap has straight margin and a smooth texture with some tan color warts. White, soft flesh with earthy odor. Free gills that are close and some unequal. White spore print. Central round stipe that is 10cm. Annulus present on stipe and a collar like volva at base. Found growing in leaf litter on the ground. Black birch and oak trees growing nearby.
