Swallowtail on Marigolds.

Raised this swallowtail from egg but sadly it emerged and its wings improperly dried. Permanently couldn't fly so I'm currently caring for him as a hospice butterfly
This guy flitted from flower to flower... would not cooperate and pose for me.
several flying around the teaching area this morning
Several pairs flying around the reserve and feeding on the flowers
I believe this swallowtail was feeding on nectar from Salvia cocchineas behind my fence and then flying to an oakleaf holly to rest and bask in the sun. I observed the back and forth twice and suspect that this behavior was repeated several other times before the swallowtail left the area.
