Under old hickory in a row of mixed hickory & oak. Past mature specimens only, dried out, spore still present.
Well defined but short pedicel to sac, peristome not delimited or especially pronounced, fairly large @6 cm dried.
Spore mount in 2% KOH, warts @.4-.5 um, evenly dispersed and relatively dense, spores brownish with yellow hues in KOH, round, @3 um.
