Description

Colonia de organismos sésiles adherida a roca, ubicada por el lado no expuesto al sol en una poza del intermareal. De consistencia dura y muy rugosa. No estoy seguro si en ambas fotos son la misma especie, pero si al mismo filo.

Description

Aves cubiertas de plumas. Con la cabeza y el cuello de color blanco. Con plumas cortas y finas .en la parte superior de cabeza salen unas plumas finas, en la parte anterior se encuentran los ojos que son redondos, medianos en comparación con su cabeza. De esta nace el pico que es alargado, ancho y grueso de color café oscuro, anaranjado. De la parte inferior del pico se proyecta la bolsa gular que es de color azul. El cuello es corto en comparación con el pico. Las alas son de color café oscuras, pardo y con partes blancas. Patas lobuladas de color grisáceo, cortas en comparación a su cuerpo.
Se encontraba en las afueras del terminal pesquero de Talcahuano. Donde hay una recurrente fluctuación de personas, posados sobre los botes de los pescadores artesanales, sobre el agua y en la arena junto a Ottaria flavescens.
Se presentan en comunidades o solitarios.

Description

Organismo con dos valvas ambas de color lila y en el margen crenulado de color morado oscuro. Presenta estrías radiales y concéntricas, finas y definidas. Algunas con cirripedios apegados en una de sus valvas externamente. Se encontraban agrupados y pegados a una roca del intermareal rocoso superior. Junto con estos se encontraba Jehlius cirratus y Siphonaria lessoni.

Description

Organismo cubierto por una estructura calcárea formada por seis placas. Medianamente alto, tubular de color blanco grisáceo. La abertura tiene forma de rombo. El Tergo es la placa inferior corta. El escudo es la placa posterior grande. Los divides una línea vertical, recta y una línea horizontal que forma una cresta.
Habitaba en conjuntos y fusionados unos a otros. Apegados en las rocas del intermareal rocoso superior, junto a ellos se encontraba Perumyitilus pupuratus.

Individuos de pequeño tamaño con forma tubular de simetría bilateral que viven agrupados en la zona intermarial rocosa adheridos al sustrato, poseen una vida sésil y mantienen su cuerpo encerrado en una concha calcárea de pigmentación grisácea formada por 6 placas murales.

Description

Organismo cubierto por estructura calcárea. Forma tubular color blanco grisáceo . Se observa el tergo (placa inferior corta) y el escudo (placa superior más grande). Divido por una línea vertical recta y una horizontal con una irregularidad. Habita con mas organismos iguales y juntos, apegados a las rocas del intermareal.
