Description

The Turkey Vulture is a large dark brown bird with a wide wing span. The ends of its wings have long finger like feathers that are of lighter off-white coloration. Their most distinguishable feature is their red featherless head with a tan colored beak. The Turkey vulture has a wingspan of around 178 cm and a body length of around 81 cm.

The habitat where the organism was found is Hammock park, a mixed hardwood forest. The birds where seen resting on a tall tree with few leaves near a creek next to a walking trail. The birds where also seen circling around an area filled with trees and shrubs. The weather was sunny, no clouds and no rain.

The geographic distribution of this organism is across North America. They are permanent residents in southern North America and migrate south if they reside for breeding up in northern North America.

Description

This tree squirrels was found in a park. This was my observation for the deutorostome. The squirrels are member of the sciuridae family and are include in all continents. They are mammals and this one specifically was around 7 inches long. They are considered rodents and commonly seen at woodlands and city parks.
