Small population (6 plants) near building entrance at Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center. Population is being monitored and removed. Two years ago there were 40+ plants. Probably introduced with cultivated natives planted around the building.
Anza-Borrego Foundation property. Outwash from Glorietta Canyon.
Plant removed by Kate Harper.

From a big population being treated with chemicals and hand pulling.
First time spotting this plant in the city. It certainly smelled interesting when mashed up, like fennel or dill.
