After reviewing many images and the original descriptions, I've concluded this is Bleptina inferior. This is primarily based on a couple of things that Grote emphasizes in his original description:
-- The uniformity of the FW color, without significant shading in the outer third or basally; and
-- The yellow reniform spot with a small black dot in the "inner" half. This latter aspect is shared but some B. caradrinalis but is less characteristic in that species.

On MPG, the primary image for B. inferior and two images on BG, all from Carol Wolf, do NOT match the description at all. They are likley to be caradrinalis.
