Observation refers to reddish individuals (marked with arrow). Creek floodplain in pine forest. Branch leaf 1.7 x 0.8mm, stem leaf large, lingulate, 2.4 x 1.0mm.

Shaded wet area by ponded depression. Stem reddish. Branch leaf 2.2 x 1.0mm, stem leaf 2.1 x 1.0mm. I have entered this as S. magellanicum but it should be considered part of that complex, not sure which species.

Creek floodplain in mixed woods. Multilayer cortex, no comb fibrils. Pinkish color in capitulum. Branch leaves have many pores in cells on convex side near base. Stem leaves lingulate, stick out from stem, large. Branch leaves 2.1 x 1.1mm, Stem leaves 2.5 x 1mm.
