Trailing stems to around a couple of feet long, with just small scale-like leaves in the flowering region, while lower down the stems the leaves are small and alternate, and lower down still in whorls of three. Keyed out on VicFlora, and noted there as being found in this location. Pyrete Range, Lederderg State Forest, Gisborne.
