Description

Adult pair. Distinctive calls heard and then pair seen in flight. Photo isn't great, but if you zoom in you'll see female on the left with red in tail and yellow markings on the head. Male on right with red in tail.

Description

Orts, heard and saw two glossy black cockatoos flying above the area prior to looking for the orts. Unfortunately no sound recordings or photos (yet). A resident at the airfield said the pair had been there for around 10 months.

Fresh scats from koala found in bushland area waterway corridor around base of mature Eucalyptus fibrosa. Other species present include Eucalyptus propinqua, E siderophloia, C henryi, L suaveolens.
