Pedro e S Paulo no Brasil até em Cabo Verde (costa da África - fiquei impressionado com a quantidade que apareceu por quilômetros e por mais de uma semana durante a travessia do Atlântico.

Description:
Following the key in Vasques and Prado (2011) and the discussion of specialists the specimens are assigned to Campyloneurum sp. due to incongruencies among Campyloneurum repens and Campyloneurum crispum.
This observation is part of the PhD thesis 'Modern fern–arthropod interactions from the southern Atlantic Rainforest revealing insights to fossil plant–insect interaction" published in a work under review (8 March 2023). Specimens are under the sample codes of T3P3.

There are about 1000 cattle egrets nesting at this location. I would appreciate input if anyone is aware of any tracking studies of egrets that would explain this bird. I have sent photos to bandedbirds.org and they have no record of any study.
