Likely Crotalus scutulatus x viridis hybrid
75 degrees at 5:47pm but cooling down quickly as the sun went behind the mountain. At 6:30pm it was 67 degrees in this area.

Lifer coral
Arizona Coral Snake Micruroides euryxanthus at a rest stop near Dragon, AZ. It had just rained and been overcast and the sun was just comming out.
This specimen was found in the Terlingua Flats area of Big Bend region, an area known for large populations of this species. Hybridization with Western Diamondbacks does occur in this area.
fighting for hunting grounds
Albino - found under a porch. Buzzed my friend as he went up the steps and he went under to get it out. Found this craziness. Not my photos or my find but it is worth a mention and location. I wish I could claim this fame but it was his legit find.

Horns above eyes make me wonder if this is a sidewinder. Found in more of a canyon than sandy area though.
Mating ritual shown by two males, possibly a female in the vicinity.
This white female Mohave was found in the deserts surrounding Tucson, AZ.
