Lifer!
I was sitting near the geese and ducks when in the distance, I saw a small bird running along the shore. It was tiny compared to the Canada Geese. What was funny was that it kept wagging its rear all over the place! It was an exciting sight and I may have seen last year too. The Spotted Sandpiper may be an annual visitor of Marita Payne Pond.
