Adult feeding caterpillar to it's fledgling. The caterpillar was found on a Snowberry plant.

This bird sitting in a bush along the edges by WHIP field. Note caterpillar in his mouth. He/She held it for awhile and flew off. Maybe this bird was feeding some baby chicks somewhere?

White-crowned sparrow (in first photo it has an insect in its beak.) This is one of a pair of sparrows- I'm certain they have a nest nearby, but I haven't been able to spot it.

Rear end view shows a caterpillar it caught among spring oak flowers.

A few of these birds have moved into our decaying Purple Martin house. The fourth photo is him dropping off the caterpillar at the house.

The fog was lifting in places and noticed several Monarchs aloft, shot this one then an American Kestrel dove out of the fog and snagged the Monarch, took a bite and then let it fall.

Looks to have a Painted Lady as a meal....

Not sure what it caught. Some sort of fly possibly.

A mated pair with a nest close by, I suspect. As the one with the insect made no move to eat it and entered the tree line carrying it.
