Description

well naturalized in shady understory, hundreds of plants found. interestingly I could not find any female flowers, but I did see old fruits. This was found in an areas with a bunch of old plantings and this was surely planted but has now naturalized.

Description

Seen in the water by colleagues (not my observation), on sandy bottom of the river, between 30 cm and 1.5 m depth (several pieces seen). Apparently sometimes "growing" around pieces of wood. Not soft and "fleshy", rather hard, but easily breakable. I am not even sure this is (or was) a living thing. But if yes, I guess iNat would be the best place to find out. Help please!
