Description
on a 3 hour snowshoe through mixed forest, we looked for this and found it, only here though, several trees at this spot affected. We wondered about nuthatches? because looking at images online, yes woodpeckers are also seen drilling horizontal rows, but these holes seem rather small for any kind of woodpecker here....

Description
2 little brown bats. They do go inside the shop door, i hope there is some in the bat-house right above it. we did take them to a save place, close-by, were they are not bothered by an opening and closing door)
